I loved every second of this moment with the Five kiddies. But after a few bumps and a cracked rib I am done for the day:) Tanner was a delight to challenge me for speed. He was a tough one to beat!

Amber and Tanner Being rough and tough. Amber saying "I lover you Tanner".

This was my last go at it before I got ribbed. Tanner is on the left of me. We are for the Go!
I am proud of all the kids. they played so hard. Austen was the water man the made sure everything was wet enough including us. Thanks Pockets. I hope Yawl enjoyed a bit of our Saturday.

Jason setting up the Slip and Slide.

Amber Also was going fanny first. My goodness we must not do this enough.

I guess was up to the Mommie to show them how to GO face first to gain Speed! So I did. Whew ! That was a rush.

They all followed quickly behind me over and over again. Tanner and I kept going for such a long time. I was sacked. Those are fabulous moments.

Slip & Sliding? Who would think it would be hard?

Emmie I'm not quite sure whta kind of slide she was doing. A few time she a bounce in there. a perhaps ia frog tipe of slide.

Sofie unsure, tries to slide on fanny first in a dry suit. We squirted her down.

Austen fully clothed in is daily apparel. trying it out and then decides its not all that great. I suggested swim trunks.

Tanner, got wet first with a full running start and maimed it. He figured it out But he was sure there was a better way.

Strawberry Pickin and Jam Makin in The South!

Once a year we take the kids to a local strawberry patch to gather berries. This is a new tradition for us. This would be our 2nd time doing this and it is so fun. Miss Sofie is sampling one to make sure they are ready to be picked. Amber is digging for the big ones and Emmie is counting hers. Miss Emmie decided that she needed a little working treat to help her continue with her Berrie pickins. She is so cute. This apron she help me make for her project in school. She was a Chef and this was part of her costume.

Momma Leean was having a splendid time gathering strawberries herself. She sampled a few and gave hers to Miss Emmie. She made the girls little slip up dresses which they are sporting here aprons covering to keep them clean.

Jason and the girls filling up there baskets to finish up the day. Lets call it a day and go home. They were being to picky with their berries. So we just finished them ourselves.

The boys were every where. All over the fields. How do you all like the grandma garden fanny? that person is not related to us just so you all know. I so believe the boys had the tastiest berries however. Good work Young men.
When we got home Momma Leean and I started in on all those berries. She dug out the green stems and washed them and I cut them and froze what needed to be froze and then we started to make frozen jam. Yea she taught me how to make jam. and can I tell you it is so much better than store jam. I don't think I'll ever go back to store jam. Thank you so much for spending the time with me in the kitchen. I sure wish You could have taken some home with you.

The Poopin Chickins

Grandma found some fabulous little treats that she just could not pass up at Wally World. Easter section Clerence these chicks and bunnies that poop out gum and even jellybeans for a refill. It was a riot in the house.

Everyone got into them. Tanner was a bit unsure why they made a thing like that which I thought was so funny because he is always thinking of industrial inventions and Etc. But he really did have fun after he started filling it up.

There goes the family and the Chicks and Bunnies just a Poopin out candy left and right. And y'all thought you've seen it all. Nope Grandma brought more life in the hope and I have a request on the grocery list for jelly beans to fill the Chickens. Thanks Grandma! The kids Love them.

Grandma & Papa Bruce come down South

We welcomed G&G Gray here to our home. They brought so much excitement to the family. Right now they were watching Amber and Emmie Sail!? Amber and Emmie saw a piece of a plastic little tike table in the pond that once was under water but since the water went down it was able to float away. They wanted to fish it out but we had not a boat. They thought using our dock and the ores from an older boat would work. So they tried. Mind you this is quite a heavy dock with steps attached.

They worked the raft like Tom and Huck and loved every second of it. They were so excited about this adventure! If you will see in from of Emmie is a little spec and that is what they are getting out of the pond. Which is the seat to little tike table.

Still working hard! trying to row together. At the end they succeeded and returned safely with the help of their grandparents that were finishing the supervising. I was cooking.
